Tyler is the founder of Blue Collar Mortgage and brings over 10 years of mortgage industry experience. His passion lies in building a company that reflects his vision—one rooted in strong relationships, genuine service, and a people-first culture.
Outside of work, you’ll usually find Tyler enjoying the great outdoors, golfing, or spending time with close friends. Most of all, he enjoys life at home with his beautiful wife, Caitlin, and their two daughters, Heidi and Demi.
John Magoffin

With a background in education and ministry spanning nearly two decades, John Magoffin brings a uniquely personal and thoughtful approach to the mortgage process. Originally from Golden City, Missouri, John and his family now reside in Harrisonville. Having begun in the industry as a Loan Processor, he quickly grew into his role as a Loan Originator who knows what it takes to get borrowers all the way to the closing table on time. His heart for service, combined with strong communication skills, makes him especially effective at guiding first-time homebuyers through one of life’s biggest financial decisions.
John is well-versed in Conventional, FHA, VA, and USDA loan programs, and takes great pride in helping everyday individuals build long-term stability and wealth through homeownership. His goal is simple: to deliver integrity-driven service with clear, concise communication that leaves every client feeling informed, secure, and empowered.

Outside of work, John enjoys a rich life with his wife, three kids, two dogs, and a cat. He finds joy in family movie nights, heartfelt conversations over coffee, serving and worshiping with his church family, and exploring the outdoors—especially with a fishing pole in hand and his EnChroma sunglasses on, a special gift from some former students to allow him to experience a world of vibrant color
